AOL users, please read

There are some well known issues with AOL users and many different forums, which causes all sorts of problems.

Signing up

In an effort to help prevent undesirable content, this forum requires that you reply to a confirmation message sent to your e-mail address (usually yourname@aol.com). Sadly, AOL tends to be over zealous and may see these messages as spam, so you never receive them and are unable to complete the signup process. We recommend that you sign up for and use a Gmail or Yahoo e-mail address to register with.


Logging in

All forums that require you to log in, need the use of cookies. But it seems the AOL browser does not handle cookies very well and prevents people from logging into their account. The answer is to minimise the AOL browser, and use Internet Explorer, or Firefox instead.

Or you could just use a decent ISP, but that's just my view.

Wow I don't even think if I hadn't read that post I would have realized that nor known it. I wonder why it's gotten so complicated now.
