I came to post a topic this evening and again cannot find a place for it; I took a best guess and put it in the 'all others' forum. But the topic is about the British car industry in general, and not any specific maker, so doesn't really belong there. So maybe a forum for general discussion would be of use, within the top section here?

I support your brilliant idea britjojo. It would be great if there's a section where we can express ourselves through chatting different topics or current issues. If ever there will be a general chat area, hope there's no spammers.

There is now a "general" forum, which is at http://www.bcc-forums.com/forums/the_tea_room-b19.0/

for me  general  section is where we can put  our  views and  rather than  calling this  a  chat section we can call this sharing  views section. and ofcourse the selective sections  helps  from spammers. so at the very begginning  we  have to decide where should  be what..!!

I have also thought of suggesting a real "general" section in this forum wherein we can talk about anything not related to british cars and not being taken in any of the threads in here.

Ok I know that I said that having ads section would be cool but you are right there should be a general forum here. There should alwasy be a place for members to express themselves whenever they wish to. Plus it brings a bit complexity to the forum you know what I mean.

That section just makes it fun to be here. I think every forum I have been on has a general area but then again you don't want your members to go a stray from the reason they are here either.

I've visited many sites almost all of it have a general forum section. It's where all members enjoyed sharing ideas about different interesting topics. I think doing the same thing in this baord is a good idea.
