I hope this is the right place to give suggestions. I was wondering to get this forum popular and more people interested is to advertise? One of the good places i know is http://blawgspot.com/. Give it a try.

I have been doing some advertising, including some paid advertising, but it is still very early days - the site is still less than two weeks old.

Thanks for the tip - I'll check it out. Smiley

Hehe. That is cool. I guess it will start slow. Good luck to your website.

Word of mouth has always been one of the better advertisements in my experience. I have a small site of my own that grew very nicely thanks to referrals.

Incidentally I tried to get my father to join here, but he's never been on a forum before, poor fellow.

ITs nothing, tell him it's like joining a community of people who enjoy talking about the same things he does.

I must say that what I have readv here rings very true- people seem to be genuinely friendly and helpful-and as a newbie here that matters to m. I would recommend any prospective members to look round a little bit and then jump in without wasting too much time Cool

I would agree with Britjojo that word of mouth is by far the finest advertising going-it is efficient , productive and damn cheap into the bargain. I think personal recommendation is preferred by most folks simply because it is that-personal, nobody has been paid to produce a fine glossy line of b/s-it is just down to what people think

I used to be in advertising company before. I'm a little bit talkative person. I guess it's a plus factor for me to advertise through word of mouth.
