I got 3 tickets of road violation last year. Overspeeding, using mobile an not wearing seatbelts. I spent bucks for my fines. How about you? Have you committed any road violations?

I am a very careful driver. The only ticket I have received was for parking on the wrong side of a street that has rules about what side you can park on for which day. I was just on the wrong side for the wrong day.

No moving violations.

Good to hear that from you Jo at least you're not throwing a penny from your pcoket. I think the Police officers here memorized my plate number. That's why it's easy for them to catch me. Grin

I think there are enough people in the country to make them forget you! Just be careful for a while. And yes, I am tight. I don't like throwing my money away.

It's not my intention to throw out bucks for nothing. I used to forget my driving liscense because of running out of time. But now I don't put my driving liscense in my wallet. I just leave it on my car's drawer.

I am forever forgetting my wallet, but luckily I have so far not been pulled over on a time that it wasn't with me. I really need to get better at it-my luck may soon change.

The same thing with Jim. But it happened 2 years ago. I was driving a motorcycle without using a helmet. I was surprised because the Police officer asked me to stop and surrender my liscense. You already know what's next. He asked me to pay $50 bucks.

You shouldn't leave stuff like that in the car - to some thieves, it's worth more to them than the car itself.

Personally, I leave it at home. Here in the UK, you get what we call a "producer", which means that you just have to take your license, MOT and insurance, etc., to a local police station for them to check over. A hassle maybe, but less of a hassle than if the documents were stolen.

I agree Andy and I wish it were the case in this country. In fact over here, even if you don't drive you have to get a none driver's ID, because you can be required to produce ID if you are the passenger of a car that gets pulled. It's a really odd country.

Thank's Andy for your tips and advice. I guess it's the right time for me to adjust and settle everything to avoid any road violation. I'm always responsible of my own carelessness in driving.

I have also had a few violation tickets in my time ,mainly speeding ,although these occurred through driving for a living and this meant working under pressure of time

I experienced being chased by a Police officer last time because of running away. My penalty was doubled in doing such thing so be careful. Grin
