I'm currently working in a Sultanate goverment. I just wondered why they need to banned tinted window cars. I think a car with a tited window looks good.

It may do but it also increases security issues. In areas where quite car checks are needed, I can see this being a problem because you couldn't easily see who was in the car. You also couldn't see a gun being pointed at you from a car, or see people being smuggled on the floor of cars.

I think you're right. There will be more disadvantages of using tinted. The only person allowed to use tinted windows car in here is the Sultan and the royal families.

That makes sense-the one group of people who it is desirable to NOT have them seen from outside the car. However, being the only people in the country with tinted glass would make them stand out almost as much.

One thing I like in driving a tinted car is that it is cool to drive during hot weather or summer season.

Even in some European countries you are only allowed to tint your car windows up to a certain extent and only on some windows.

Having never considered a car with tinted windows, I was unaware of this. But like I say for security reasons, it really does make sense to have a limit on things.

I've been in a country where tinted windows on cars were legal for all residents. But I found out one disadvantage. Some lovers used their cars as a love nest. And I think it's not good to look at especially for kids.

Our car has tinted windows in the back and light tinting in the drivers and passenger windows. The front screen is not tinted. From the point of view of a person who normally rides in the back where the heavier tinting is, it is WONDERFUL. It really cuts down on the glare, and gives privacy when I need to nurse or change my child.

Good to hear that from you Jo at least you're car is such a good help for you. The same thing with my sister. She can easily breastfeed her babies inside the car anytime.

It may look good because it really does look good but they feel as if it just isn't safe enough for you to be driving around with these tints on your windows and not being able to see as well as you could if you we didn't have them.
